Ideal for dilute (ng/mL to µg/mL range) protein solutions. Low-binding ultracel-YM regenerated cellulose membrane available with different molecular weight cut-offs. Used in standard 1.5 mL tube fixed-angle rotors. Applications include concentrating and purifying proteins, antibodies and nucleic acids (alternative to EtOH precipitation), desalting and buffer exchange, and removal of primers, linkers and unin-corporated label.

Maximum initial sample volume is 500 µl, and typical final concentrate volume is 5 to 15 µl. Maximum centrifugal force is 14,000g , 500g for 29950-54 on DNA/RNA applications.
