More About this Item

Flir’s E-series of thermal imagers are extremely lightweight, compact and rugged. Drop proof to 6-ft (2m) and are designed to meet IP dust/splash proof standards. Thermal imaging is a non-contact technology that displays an image using different colors to represent different temperatures. Flir's thermal imagers are fully radiometric which means they measure and store temperatures at every point in the image. Fusion technology provides enhanced problem detection and analysis capabilities through the blending of visual and infrared images. The built-in laser pointer also helps associate the physical target with the hot spot on the thermal image which often indicate where a problem exists.

Designed for continuous operation on a single charge for up to 5 hours, the unit features a Li-Ion rechargeable battery with AC adaptor/charger. The Other features include a large LCD, selectable on screen viewing modes, thumbnail image gallery, and selectable measurement modes. Each camera comes with access to robust web based software package that allows the user to transfer images onto a template for analyzing and creating of a report in pdf format. The E60 also includes built-in software which allows complete in-field analysis, reporting and file sharing capability directly from the camera. FLIR-Report a professional thermal imaging software package is sold separately and provides enhanced reporting capabilities, allowing for the easy creating of comprehensive multi-image reports with analysis of image data.

FLIR’s exclusive Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging System (MSX) is featured on all E-series cameras. This function provides extraordinary real-time thermal detail that instantly highlights and orients problem locations and eliminates the need to refer back to a visual image. MSX allows you to see details never available before in earlier generations of thermal imagers, from definable edges of an object to text on a label and so much more.

METERLiNK® is a Bluetooth™ connection that is an exclusive feature on select FLIR E-Series cameras and Extech instruments. Measurements from these instruments are transmitted and stored directly on the thermal image and displayed on the camera’s viewing screen. Allowing the user a quick way to review and record multiple parameters at the location being inspected. (this feature is not available on E30 thermal imagers)
