More About this Item

Ensure worker safety and prolong the life of electrical equipment by testing the insulation resistance. These durable and lightweight insulation resistance testers with test voltages up to 2500 V and resistance measurements up to 50 GO are ideal for use in industrial and solar installation applications.

View the insulation test voltage, test voltage setting, insulation and resistance measurement (number and bar graph), and PI or DAR on a large LCD with backlight. Intuitive user interface ensures easy operation and fast resistance measurements. Testers can take up to 6500 measurements at 250 V and up to 1300 measurements at 2500 V on a single charge, enhancing productivity.

The advanced insulation resistance tester has many added features to enhance your testing capabilities. Adjust the test voltage from 250 to 2500 V in 100 V increments, making it easier to meet specific test requirements. The tester provides voltage reading up to 600 V AC or DC for increased user safety. In addition to calculating the PI and DAR, the tester also calculates the dielectric discharge rate to help identify hard to find insulation issues. The ramp test mode increases the applied voltage linearly (100 V/s) to check for insulation breakdown. Use the built-in timer up to 99 minutes in 1-minute increment to control the duration of an insulation test. Store up to 99 insulation test results on the tester with a unique, user-defined ID tag. Easily download the test results for analysis to a PC via the UBS connection using the included software.
