      A:

This product is typically used for calibration of thermometers, not calibration of furnaces. As far as the type of thermocouple, Type K is very common and has a temperature range of 32-2300 degrees F.

  • Q:

We've just been gigged for not having calibrated TC wires to our controllers and digital displays for our chambers (environmental). I'm looking for a device that I can used to calibrate our TC in our chambers to complete the system to meet the requirements of ISO 17025 and A2LA. Will this unit satisfy my need? Will provide me with documentation that the TC has been calibrated?

      A:

Yes, this would work for your calibrations, but this unit does not come with ceritifcation papers. You would need to order the calibration certificate, part number 17101-07, in addition to the calibrator.
