Calibrator takes measurements, simulates, verifies, and calibrates temperature sensors, transmitters, PLCs, and recorders. Ideal for field use—use for maintenance and troubleshooting.
Measure and source up to 10 thermocouple types, 7 RTD types, voltage, and resistance. Measure current and power transmitters with 24 VDC loop power supply. Meter performs linearity tests with 25% and 100% stepping; memory stores eight frequently used tests for faster testing.
Meter has dual channels and dual LCD—displays measure and source values simultaneously. Backlit display is easy to see even in low-light areas. Calibrator is easy to operate with simple controls and “no menu” operation — no user training required.

Q:I am currently using a Trype T thermocouple with an accuracy of +/- 1 C. Is there an RTD that I can purchase for the 724 that provides greater accuracy? I need the range to be at least -80 C to 150 C.
A:This calibrator accepts 100 ohm platinum RTDs. We offer a high accuracy probe, part number 93822-66, that would work well with this calibrator. The range for this probe is -200 to 538C. Please search for this item or contact us by phone or email for further assistance. Contact information may be found under the "Contact/About Us" tab.
Q:Does Fluke 724 require annual calibration keep within the proper specifications. My Factory Mutual auditor has informed me to get all calibration equipment up-to-date, if required.
A:Calibration and adjustments for accuracy are not the same thing; performing a calibration may reveal the need to make adjustments to meet published standards. Ask your FM auditor how frequently they want a calibration performed on your equipment; that will be the interval to which you should have calibrations done.
