In contrast to using the straight-edge method or dial indicators, the Fluke 830 tool performs the complicated alignment calculations for you, ensuring you have the answers you need to quickly align your machine. The enhanced user interface provides easy-to-understand results that don’t require extensive alignment knowledge, and provides a unique “All-in-One” result screen that displays both coupling results and feet corrections (vertical and horizontal) in real terms making it easy to take corrective actions.
This instrument allows you to quickly evaluate machine alignment in three simple steps. First, the step-by-step input of your machines dimensions. Second, as you rotate the shaft the instrument receives instant measurement verification. Third, the actual correction numbers are displayed with a four-color severity scale that indicates the degree in which your machine is misaligned.
