Relays are an integral part of a process control system. They complete or interrupt a circuit or groups of circuits. These relays feature a real-time clock and calendar, plus 29 different function blocks for easy problem solving. Program and edit using the selection buttons or use the advanced exclusive software WindLGC. Use these programmable relays to manage automatic lighting, access control, watering systems, pump control, or ventilation systems. More advanced than a time delay relay, but less expensive than a PLC, the IDEC SmartRelay series fills the need for a compact, flexible control and monitoring device. Relays can replace multiple relays, timers, and counters in many applications.
The IDEC SmartRelay integrates programming and display functions into the control unit with an on-board display (LCD) and keypad. The LCD can display messages up to 40 characters long from a selection of 97 character types. The relays are also expandable,
with expansion modules that snap on with no special cables, tools, or programming. Select from three expansion modules with various I/O points to fit your need. A maximum of 56 function blocks and 8 internal relays can work at the same time. Order rewritable memory cartridge 65524-14 to save your program and duplicate it on other SmartRelays.
