  • Q:

Hi, I have 3 of the Masterflex Standard pump head for L/S 17 tubing. What type of maintenance should I use for the pump heads? I have three of them and they are making some noise when rotating. Do they need to have any lubrication after awhile in order to run smoothly? And how to clean them properly in case rust is starting to form or just to keep them clean?

      A:

The bearings are sealed, lubricating is not an option. If moisture has entered the internal rotor the recommendation is to replace the rotor assembly, part# 07013-95.
