More About this Item
These Masterflex® single-use liquid turbine flow sensors are corrosion resistant for long-term, trouble-free performance in demanding situations. Sensor is positioned near the edges of the rotor blades to provide accurate flow measurements for liquids.
The Masterflex® single-use turbine flow sensor bundles include a tubeholder flow sensor and flow tubes:
1. Flow Sensor
Tubeholder sensor secures the flow tube with a screw-down closure and has a flat base, ideal for surface or bench work. Constructed with a PVDF and either ruby or sapphire bearing for high chemical and corrosion resistance.
2. Flow Tubes
Flow tubes come precalibrated to one point with a single-point calibration certificate with a K-factor at 50% of the flowrate and serial number. Each flow tube has an attached label that indicates the lot number, serial number, K-factor, and 2-D bar code with all the calibration data. The barcode can quickly be read by the optional barcode scanner, sold separately, making the calibration process unnecessary when exchanging a flow tube.
3. Optional Outputs
The barcode on each flow tube can quickly be read by the barcode scanner making the calibration process unnecessary when exchanging a flow tube. Eliminate long downtimes and extra calibration while ensuring an accurate measurement with the barcode scanner. Barcode scanner is sold separately as part number 24507-18.
Three output options are available — digital to analog converter, panel mount flow display with totalizer, and desktop enclosure flow display with totalizer. Flow in your tubing is picked up via the IR beam in the sensor connection and converted into a 5 to 30 V square wave pulse output. The digital-to-analog converter converts the 5 to 30 V square wave pulse to a voltage, current, or frequency output. The flow displays with totalizers show the flow with totalizer and features a large, backlit, 8-digit, LCD showing accurate flow readout. All output options are sold separately—digital to analog converter is available as part number 24507-17, panel mount display is part number 24507-26, and desktop display is part number 24507-25.
