More About this Item
Use the hot-stage module with a microscope to closely view thermal transitions of a very small sample while being heated and cooled*. Hot-stage module features a furnace with a heating element above and beneath the sample to provide the utmost temperature uniformity in the sample. Simply place the sample between the slide and top glass. A standard X-Y table moves the sample to easily view areas of interest. A cooling fan in the measurement cell helps cool sample to ensure no valuable time is wasted between experiments.
Small footprint, color touchscreen and control, and easy access to sample chamber provide fast and efficient analysis. Intuitive interface paired with a 7" touch-sensitive VGA display make operation simple. OneClick feature lets you store repetitive measurements and recall with a push of a key. Unit stores last 100 temperature programs/events. Easily transfer your data using Ethernet connection, a SD card, or a USB flash drive. Control unit measures 13.8"L x 7.7"W x 5.9"H (35 x 19.5 x 15 cm); hot-stage module measures 7.7"L x 3.3"W x 1.1"H (19.5 x 8.5 x 2.8 cm).
Microscope requirements: • A stage diameter or side length of at least 125 mm • Greater than 29 mm distance between the front lens of the objective and the microscope stage • At least 7 mm free working distance • If the working distance is <12 mm, the diameter should not be more than 19 mm • Lenses with higher magnifications should have a long working distance
*Cooling capable with optional cooling box.
