More About this Item

Safely use this explosion-proof hot plate where flammable gases or vapors can produce explosive or ignitable mixtures—ideal for evaporating volatile organic solvents and heating lacquers.
Thermostat maintains temperature to within ±5.5degC. Added safety thermostat prevents temperatures from exceeding 243degC. Hot plate features a durable, corrosion-resistant steel case; cast-aluminum top plate accommodates metal vessels. No. You must order the hot plate in its intended usage configuration. Any modifications made by you will void the warranty and also void the UL Listing approval.
