    EW-04245-60 be used for grinding paraffin waxes into powder?

      This blender will not be able to grind a wax into a powder. This blender also gives off some heat which may melt the wax.

      Waring does not sell any 0.5 L glass containers. The container that comes with the blender is 1 L glass. There is also a 250 mL glass container, which is part number 04243-28.

      The blender is sold with the glass (04245-60) or stainless steel (04245-62) container, it is not sold as the base alone. There is a replacement base cover available as part number 00276OK, if that is what you meant.

      No, the blade assembly is fused to the container on this blender. Cleaning suggestions state that you should use dish washing soap and mix for a few seconds, then rinse thoroughly.
