Microprocessor-Controlled Oven (models 05017-10 and -15) with self-diagnostic indicators, back-up thermostat, and dual controls prevent damage to samples. Program up to eight on/off cycles per day. Front panel indicators alert you to open thermocouple, shorted triac, open heater, or overtemperature conditions. Easy-care construction features steel cabinet with baked epoxy enamel finish, stainless steel interior, chrome-plated steel shelves, and a silicone gasket.

    There is mention of a dial thermometer inside the oven. Is this sold separately? If so, can you provide more information on it?

      The 05017-00 and 05017-05 use an analog dial instead of a digital display, which comes included with the oven. The 05017-10 has a digital display, so no analog dial is needed for temperature measurement.

      As a general rule, the free area capacity of the pump should be, at a minimum, 1.5 times the area of the oven. For a oven this size (1.5 cu. ft.) the pump should have at least 2.25 cu. ft. of free air capacity. A rotary vane pump such as EW-79203-10 (which has a free air capacity of 2.6 cu.ft.) would be acceptable. The pump may need to be different to meet a specific maximum vacuum level or for chemical compatability for an application.
