    Can this pump be used to pump liquid natural gas.

      A:

      No, in general, this pump is not a good choice for pumping liquid states of STP gases, because of the extreme temperatures. At just over atmospheric pressure, liquid natural gas is -162 degrees C.

    Is this pump ammenable to be used with an electronic device (frequency converter, etc) to control its rotation speed and therefore the fluid flow?

      A:

      This is a single phase motor. A frequency inverter can only be used to control speed for a three phase motor. You can use a valve on the outlet to control the flow rate (note: do not restrict flow on the inlet side of the pump, this may cause damage).
