Hi there I have one of these pumps the 7523-60 and the foot pedal to it stopped working and I need to replace it. Do you still make footswitches for this model? I ordered one thinking it was the one I needed and it's the wrong connection.

The footswitch for the 07595-60 drive is item 07595-42, but is obsolete and has been discontinued and is no longer available.

    • Q:

      Hi,

I have a cole parmer pump drive (7523-60) and a dual channel pump head(77202-50). I am using a L/S 16 tubing, and my requirement is to get 2 mL/min. But I realized that the default minimum flow rate for L/S 16 tubing with this drive is 9 mL/min. Is there a way out for this problem, as I would like to use L/S 16 tubing only?

      Thanks

A tee-fitting can be used with a valve for recirculation line to divert a portion of the flow.

    • Q:

In the mA control mode, using a 4 - 20 mA signal, is it necessary to use the start/stop contacts as well? Will the pump rotate with a current input of > 4 mA and then stop rotating completely with a 4 mA input regardless of the state of the start/stop circuit? Or is it required / advisable to also use the remote start/stop?

For a switch between the remote start/stop contacts, what is the voltage and current that would flow between the contacts when the switch is closed?

        A:

Use of the remote start/stop in conjunction with the mA analog signal is optional. When set up for 4-20mA control and scaled so that a 4mA signal represents 0rpm, a signal of 4mA will cause the pump to stop regardless of start/stop signal. The start/stop signal is a contact closure; it isn't intended to pass electrical current or voltage.

can you explain what the HP light means. what does HP stand for and what does the light indicate? it comes on when the tubing size button is pushed in the range of values where the light can indicate two different tubing sizes.
      thanks,

        A:

"HP" stands for high performance and should be used when the HP head and specific tubing sizes are also used. Using the setting on the pump when not using the special head and tubing will not increase your performance. It will decrease your accuracy if used when not needed since the pump is designed to display and dispense based on the tubing selected.

This unit may be controlled to start/stop/purge or change direction via open collector or contact closure. Speed may be controlled through a 0-20 mA, 4-20mA, or 0-10 V signal.
