      Comments about Fluke 971 Thermohygrometer, 5 to 95% RH/, -4 to 140F:

I purchased one of these recently and was suprised to see it reading out of range as compared to other similar calibrated intruments in our lab. A replacement was ordered and it was within it's stated accuracy but the black scensor on the top of the unit was glued on at an angle, pretty sloppy. On another note, we send many of our Fluke instruments directly to Fluke for calibration and have had nothing but trouble. The list of issues is to extensive to list in this type of forum. I am currently looking for other brands and other calibration houses.

The product is not intended for measuring temperatures lower than -20 degrees C, and we have no information on the product if it were used outside of it's stated temperature range.
