Comments about None Portable Benchtop Chilling Incubator, 100/240VAC:

I purchased two of these for maintaining virus cell lines at 10 celcius. When they worked they were great. The first stopped chilling after 1 year. The company replaced it with one that didn't chill at all; it would only heat. I sent that back and have not heard from them since. My second stopped chilling over the weekend and I have lost my cell lines to heat damage. That's three bad units in a row. Apparently, cheaper isn't always better.

Comments about None Portable Benchtop Chilling Incubator, 100/240VAC:

We need to control temperature for density determinations. We have attached a temperature logger to a thermistor probe inside the incubator - it holds between 30.2 and 30.1 deg C for over 24 hours. Amazing! We measured the temperature of a vial containing liquid inside of an aluminum block. There are temperature gradients inside the incubator, when the samples are not sitting in an aluminum block, however. You will have to test this for your application.
I am quite happy with this low-cost module.
