More About this Item

Batch control drum pumps are ideal for applications in chemical packaging, waste water treatment, chemical manufacturing, plating, semi-conductor, pharmaceutical and agricultural industries.

These systems are engineered to control, measure and dispense controlled volumes of fluid from drums, tanks and small storage vessels. Simply select the desired volume to transfer, press the enter key and watch the pump accurately dispense the fluid.

Systems are available with either polypropylene or PVDF pump tubes for chemical compatibility with your fluid. Flow rate can be displayed in gallons, Imperial gallons, liters, milliliters, or cubic meters per minute, second, or hour. Volume can be displayed in gallons, Imperial gallons, liters, milliliters, or cubic meters. Select from five different languages for display: English, German, French, Italian or Spanish. Flowmeters also feature a re-settable totalizer, EEprom electronics, and a paddle wheel design for continuous flow measurement of neutral and aggressive solid-free fluids.

Is there a longer tube accessory for this pump? We would like to be able to use this pump for totes as well as drums and need at least another 1"-2" of length to reach the bottom of the tote.

  • Q:

Can this pump be mounted for permanent use on a specific reservoir ?

Would the barrel adapter is enough to achieve adequate stabilization.
Asked on 2/15/2012 by J-F from Sherbrooke, QC

    • STAFF EXPERT

      A:

The barrel adapter holds the pump stable, but is not designed for permanent installation. It is also not recommended to remain in fluids, but should be rinsed after each use.

  • Q:

Is this product safe to use with corrosives like 35% hydrogen peroxide
    Asked on 3/28/2011 by Anonymous

    1 answer

    • STAFF EXPERT

      A:

This product's tube material is made of polypropylene. Polypropylene has a "B" rating with 35% hydrogen peroxide which means that has a minor effect on the material after a period of time. We would recommend going with a tube material of PVDF which has an "A" rating with 35% hydrogen peroxide (up to 72 degrees F) and has no effect on the material. The part number for the drum pump system with the PVDF material is 70612-20. Current pricing and availability are on our website.

  • Q:

Is their a Stainless Steel Tube Assembly available for this unit?

      A:

The 39" SS tube is part number 70604-52. But please note the connections to the tube would still be PP. Quite often the threading is not as tight as it would be with components of the same material. We suggest using PTFE tape to help seal the tube and nut.
