More About this Item

With no internal check valves, these peristaltic pumps are not prone to clogging or fouling—ideal in applications with tough-to-handle solutions. Pump tubing assemblies last up to 1000 hours and take only minutes to change. Pumps also feature a rugged, chemical-resistant Valox® housing and tamper-resistant control cover.
The variable-speed models ensure uninterrupted metered output with no ON/OFF cycle and no injector downtime. Adjust settings from the keypad, or apply a remote signal for true proportional flow control.
What’s included: two Norprene® tubing assemblies, five feet of 3/8” OD vinyl suction tubing, five feet of 3/8” OD polyethylene discharge tubing, intake strainer with weight, and injector fitting with check valve.

  • Q:

Is this unit capable of taking inputs from a PLC or using an Analog signal to control speed?

      A:

This particular model cannot accept any speed input, as it is a fixed speed motor. Take a look at part number 74201-00 instead, which can be controlled with an 4-20mA analog signal.

  • Q:

Can the tubing be autoclaved? What is the +/- % of the calibration of volume? I am looking 1.2 ml with a 2% variance.

    Thank you,

      A:

Norprene tubing can be autoclaved, the Vinyl tubing can not. This unit has an accuracy that is better than 1%.

  • Q:

Is this unit programmable? For example, can I set it to automatically come on for 2 minutes every hour?

      A:

While manually programmed, the pump will energize for the duration of the “on time” and de-energize for the remainder of the “total time” thus completing one cycle. The cycle then repeats. The “on time” and “total time” cycles are independently adjustable from 0.1 to 199.9 units of measure with a 0.1 unit resolution. The units of measure can be seconds, minutes, hours or days.

Example: If the “total time” cycle is adjusted for 90 seconds and the “on
time” portion of the cycle is adjusted for 5 seconds, the pump will run for 5
seconds and turn off for 85 seconds (90 second total cycle). This cycle is
repeated until either the standby button is pressed, the cycle time is changed
or the input power is disconnected from the pump.
