Key Features

  • Flow range: 0.002 to 12.3 mL/min per channel depending on drive rpm and tubing size
  • One- or two-channel, reversible pumping
  • Stackable, compact 1/4-DIN housing—mount in your equipment rack or place on your lab bench. (To mount, order brackets 77120-03 separately).
  • Separate single-turn speed control and cw/off/ccw switch with green LED power indicator—maintain speed setting when you turn pump on/off or reverse direction.
  • Reversible permanent magnet DC motor; purge fluid before or after pumping; pump fluid in either direction.
  • Remote control connections on back of pump; start/stop pump with a contact closure.
  • “Max” button runs pump at maximum rpm—prime or rapidly flush tubing.
  • Pump head is constructed from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), stainless steel (SS), and features acetal co-polymer rollers. PPS and SS promote longer life and the six roller construction provides a low-pulsation flow.
  • Pump head has average fixed occlusion for tubing; no need to adjust occlusion when changing tubing.

  • Q:

What is the difference from HV-77120-42?
The only difference I can find is that this one runs from 1 to 6 rpm, and HV-77120-42 runs from 10 to 60 rpm. But the flow ranges of both units are the same 0.002 to 12.3 mL/min. What is the implication of using slower rpm when flowing the same amount of solution?

  • Q:

if I will use silicon tubing what is the suitable ID and OD and the tubing will be included with pump or must be order

      A:

For this pump, we offer a variety of tubing. For platinum-cured silicone tubing we suggest the following part numbers: 95590-18 (0.51 mm ID), 95590-26 (0.89 mm ID), 95590-30 (1.14 mm ID), 95590-34 (1.42 mm ID), 95590-42 (2.06 mm ID), 95590-48 (2.79 mm ID). These all come in 50 ft packs. We are not able to give the OD of these tubings as it is proprietary information. To determine which size is best you will need to figure out how much flow you need. This pump operates from 1 to 6 rpm. Therefore, as an example a tubing with 0.51 mm ID will provide a flowrate from 0.012 to 0.07 mL/min.

There are other tubing formulations available. Please contact us for help in selecting the appropriate formulation if this does not work.

This pump comes with 5 ft of 0.89 mm ID Tygon LFL tubing (which will give 0.036 to 0.20 mL/min). Any additional tubing or different formulation of tubing needs to be ordered separately.
