    What is the maximum suction head, e.g. the maximum difference in elevation between the pump centerline and the end of the suction line when pumping water (I assume this is tubing-specific).

      A:

      Yes, it is tubing (and pump head) specific. This system comes with a small segment of 06440-73 tubing though. Please note as suction lift increases or feet of head/back pressure increase - the flow will decrease. So, the "maximum" is the point before the flow stops completely. Maximum suction lift is 29' (when working with water) for this tubing and head.

      This system uses the 77601-10 pump head which accept tubing sizes I/P 26, I/P 73, I/P 82.

    What is the margin of error or allowable error for this pump? For example, if set at 7.0 L/min should I expect 6.8-7.2L/min? 6.5-7.5L/min? or 6-8L/min?

      There are so many variable that effect flowrates that accuracy is not given in such a way.
      Back pressure, head height, suction lift, viscosity, temperature, and age, size and composition of the tubing - are all factors that effect flowrate. We can only guarantee then the speed of the drive.

      No, the drive in this system is not rated for hazardous locations. We do offer a hazardous duty drive, please see part number 07583-50. The hazardous-duty motor is UL listed for use in Class 1, Group C and D, Division 1 locations. We also offer an air powered model 07589-30 which is ATEX Zone 2 approved (rated to EEx II 3 G c IIC T6).
      These are not complete systems, only drives.

      This system comes with the I/P size 73 tubing, the lowest drive setting is 20 rpm, and at that setting the flow rate is 0.2 LPM. 0.2/20=0.01L or 10mL per revolution.
      You could also change the pump head and tubing on this drive to accept other tubing sizes.
