Sensors measure static and dynamic process pressure and are perfect components for disposable systems requiring sterilization but also minimal downtime. Sensors feature an integral flow sensor with no dead legs and no fluid path obstructions. All pressure sensors are manufactured in a FDA compliant facility, in an ISO Class 8 (formerly Class 100,000) clean room. Sensors are made from USP Class VI-compliant polycarbonate or caustic-resistant polysulfone. Both materials are gamma stable. Sensors are 100% tested for accuracy and leaks during the manufacturing process. Connect sensor to PressureMAT unit with 12-foot reusable cable. Sensors are designed for use up to a maximum pressure of 5.3 bar. Available in either process–scale or small–scale sizes.
Process-Scale Sensors connect directly as a barbed fitting to the tubing line and are available
in 1⁄4", 3⁄8", 1⁄2", 3⁄4", or 1" hose barb (see ColeParmer.com).
Small-Scale Sensors are available with luer connections and may connect directly to the fluid
line with luer adapters or indirectly by using a 1⁄4" or 3⁄8" barbed adapter tee. Both connection
setups have been tested for accuracy.

A:The maximum pressure this sensor can handle is 5.3 bar. There is no minimum requirement for the pressure sensor, although the resolution of the meter it is connected to could give the system a functional minimum.
Q:Is gamma irradiation the only method of sterilization available? Can they be autoclaved? How long is the cable coming off the luer connector?
A:These sensors have been tested before and after being autoclaved. It was found that there was no significant difference, therefore we can suggest that these be autoclaved up to two times, as that is all the test data we have supports. We do have a copy of the autoclave settings and test results on file. You may request a copy by phone or email.

A:Excitation is 2-10V, bridge circuit type. And output is 0.285 mA per psi, per volt excitation. So, if you provide 2V to excite and the psi reading is 1 psi: 2V * 1psi* 0.285 mA/psi V = 0.57 mA output).
