More About this Item

The PHT-1900 hardness meter is designed to test large hard parts at blazing speeds using the Leeb rebound method. This digital meter includes a standard impact device and works to measure the hardness of metals such as steel, cast steel, alloy tool steel, stainless steel, grey cast iron, spheroidal iron, cast aluminum, brass, bronze, and wrought copper alloy that are about 1" (25.4 mm) thick.
Auto-probe detection allows quick probe changes without having to reconfigure the meter. The large memory stores up to 100 data groups, 1 to 32 impact times per gorup, including single measurement values, mean value, impact direction, impact times, material, and hardness scale. The USB interface may be used to download data or communicate with a printer. Meter includes a calibrated test block for easy single point calibration—use additional test blocks for multi-point calibration. This portable meter includes a carrying case and is rugged enough for even the most robust applications in the lab or in the field.
