More About this Item

Choose these lightweight viscometers for fast, accurate measurements. Operation is simple: load the pipette with your sample, insert the pipette into the holder, and push the run button. The microfluidic sensor measures viscosity from the drop in pressure that occurs while the sample flows through a small rectangular flow channel. The small channel size requires only a very small sample amount—cuts down on operational costs. Select auto mode for quick and easy measurements; advanced mode takes measurements at varying shear rates. Units also measure sample temperature via the built-in RTD sensor. Save up to eight protocols for future use. The last twenty measurements including time and date stamp are held in memory for easy recall.

Advanced model allows control of the shear rate in continuous increments for greater control when measuring non-Newtonian samples. Also includes software for data analysis.
