These earth-friendly sampling sticks are durably constructed with 100% PLA (polylactic acid) resin. Whether you are mixing samples, handling capsules, scraping containers, or positioning solid samples for examination, these sampling sticks are up to the task.

PLA is a 100% plant-based material which contributes less greenhouse gasses from source to resin than its petroleum-based counterparts. Using annually renewable resources with little environmental impact, these sticks offer a low carbon footprint, are biodegradable, and can be disposed of through industrial composting, incineration, land fill, or recycling. They are comparable in strength and durability to polystyrene, polypropylene, and other plastic resin sampling tools. Nonsterile.
