More About this Item

The HG-400 MiniG® is small yet powerful tissue homogenizer and cell lyser. The adjustable clamp can handle sample vials from 2 mL to 50 mL or up to two deep-well microplates. Using the bead beating method, it is designed for rapid cell disruption, cell lysis, and tissue homogenization. Common applications for this model include DNA/RNA research and extraction, protein extraction, biofuel research, and pesticide residue extraction via the QuEChERS or SWeET method.

Effective September 2023, the Spex® SamplePrep 1600 MiniG® has now been rebranded Cole-Parmer® under model number HG-400 MiniG®. All the same great features and specifications, just with a new and improved look.
