The ergonomically designed detector is capable of finding combustible gas leaks in pipes, fittings, regulators, and more. Digital display lets you see the ppm value, stepped ppm, or LEL reading. Detector features an automatic sensor test and zero function at start up. Zero button allows you to zero the display at any time. Adjust the audible tic rate to pinpoint the location of a leak — as you near a leak, decrease the tic rate and move along the item being tested until the leak source is located. If the leak concentration is above the alarm level, the alarm will sound and the LEDs located in the front panel and the sensor cage will flash. Adjust the alarm level from 100 ppm to 5000 ppm in 100 ppm increments. Conserve battery life with the auto power off function, which can be enabled or disabled. Battery indicator monitors the condition of the battery. Display backlight remains on for 20 seconds when viewing in dimly lit areas. Order the optional earphone for use in noisy environments. Sensor replacement is easy — simply unscrew the sensor cage, unplug the old sensor, and install the new one.
