Quartz Filters are used for air sampling of acidic gases, stacks, flues, and aerosols. Effective at high temperatures up to 964°F (500°C). Meet requirements for EPA PM-10 µm and PM-2.5 µm testing to sample particles down to 2.5 µm. High purity quartz (SiO₂) microfiber filters have low levels of alkaline earth metals, eliminating artifact products of sulfates and nitrates (from SO₂ and NO₂).
