WTW OxiTop IS BOD Measurement System, 6 Samples

These OxiTop automated BOD measurement systems provide a ready-to-use solution for both small and large laboratories. Choose the OxiTop IS system when a small number of tests need to be performed. Systems are available in 6- and 12-place configurations and include everything you need to begin testing.


Convenient and simple to use — place the OxiTop measuring head directly on the BOD bottle containing the sample. The head senses pressure changes caused by cellular respiration within the closed system and converts that data into BOD values. The measurements are then stored in the imbedded memory for later retrieval.


The included IS stirrer base maintains constant temperature and distributes oxygen evenly throughout the sample. Order the optional thermostat box to incubate samples at 20°C; the box measures 16-3/4"W x 14-3/4"H x 23-5/8"D (42.5 x 37.5 x 60 cm) and can accommodate an entire 12-place OxiTop system.


OxiTop IS System uses the OxiTop measuring head with an LED display. The head automatically stores one value every 24 hours for five days. This system is best suited for fewer tests since programming and data recording must be done by hand.
