The Empore RAD disks provide a large surface area for sorbent/sample contact, idea for use with purification and concentration of analytes from large volume aqueous samples. A proprietary process is used to entrap adsorbent particles into a matrix of inert PTFE to create a mechanically stable sorbent disk.
In addition to fast flow rates and high throughput, the disks form convenient direct counting sources when used in applicable test methods. Disks are available in four selective sorbents – cesium, radium, strontium, and technetium.
