The differential technology of these sensors provides advanced accuracy by virtually eliminating ground loops. In addition, the automatic temperature compensation of the sensors allows for precise measurement in temperature changing environments.
These sensors are made with a PPS body and salt bridge, PVDF and ceramic junction, Viton® O-rings, and a titanium solution ground. The pH sensors have a protected glass bulb while the ORP sensors have a platinum band. The durable construction allows for enhanced chemical compatibility.
These differential pH sensors have two reference electrodes for differential measurement of either pH or ORP with respect to a third metal ground electrode. These feature a reference cell which is a measuring electrode in a buffered pH 7.0 buffer solution. Using the buffered reference cell rather than the traditional silver/silver chloride reference resists contamination by the sample, improves accuracy, and extends the sensor life. Sensor life is also extended with the replacement salt bridge feature and refill solution, which avoids having to replace the entire sensor.
