Cole-Parmer® Nichrome Inoculating Loops with Handles

Nichrome wire inoculating loops used to select, inoculate, or transfer microbiological samples

These inoculating loops, also known as streakers, have been designed to slide easily along agar surfaces without cutting or tearing. Made of twisted nichrome wire with an insulated, light-weight aluminum handle to protect the hand during use, they cool rapidly after sterilization and are more economical than platinum loops. Non-sterile and reusable, they are available calibrated (1µl & 10µl) or non-calibrated (small, medium or large). Handles are color coded for easy identification.
