Incorporating a flexible heating element, the uncontrolled heating mantles allow for efficient heat transfer and fast boiling times of liquid samples in round-bottom flasks between 50 and 5000 mL capacity. Ceramic fiber thermal insulation concentrates the heat on the glassware and keeps the aluminum powder-coated case stable and cool. The uncontrolled mantles require the use of an external temperature controller."
