Easy-to-use, self-contained vacuum aspiration system provides convenient handling of liquid waste disposal and is a great replacement for the common vacuum pump. This compact unit can be used for all kinds of liquid waste recovery, especially biological, chemical, and radioactive liquids. Ideal for use in cell culture, RNA/DNA extraction, microplate waste removal, separation of liquids and solids, or liquid recovery, these vacuum aspirators help you avoid lab air contamination and offer personnel safety protection. These vacuum aspiration systems do not need to be connected to a vacuum source and can be easily repositioned around the lab.
Suction power can be adjusted up to 15 L/min aspiration of air to achieve a 1 mL/sec to 17 mL/sec flow rate, and indicator lights identify when the desired vacuum is reached. Easily switch between manual aspiration and continuous aspiration to minimize hand fatigue. The collection bottle outlet with replaceable hydrophobic filter prevents aerosol and liquid contamination. A sturdy stand keeps the bottle securely in place and includes a bracket for the aspiration handle. The brushless motor offers low noise operation (55 dB) and long life.
Choose from the 4-L model with a level detection system to prevent bottle overfill and quick disconnect cap for fast and easy disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly, or the 2-L model with barbed fitting cap.
Several adapters are provided to fit a multitude of laboratory supplies and include single-channel adapters (for 200-µL and 1-mL tips), single-channel needles (4 sizes), eight-channel adapter (for 200-µL tips), and an eight-channel needle adapter (with 1-mL tips). Easy to disassemble and clean, all parts that are in contact with liquids can be autoclaved. These vacuum aspiration systems are CE marked and CSA approved, and include power adapters for EU, UK, and North America.
