Unique hydrogel surface inhibits cell attachment
These culture plates and dishes have a unique covalently bonded hydrogel surface that is hydrophilc and neutrally charged. It minimizes cell attachment, protein absorption and enzyme activation. The surface is non-cytotoxic, biologically inert and nondegradable. Use these products to maintain cells in a suspended, unattached state, prevent stem cells from attachment-mediated differentiation, prevent anchorage-dependent cells from dividing, and reduce binding of attachment and serum proteins to the substrate.
