These portable turbidity meters offer two choices for light source. The T80IR uses an infrared light emitting diode (LED 860 ± 30 nm) with a 90° scattering method, which is compliant with ISO 7027 and DIN EN 27027 standards for turbidity determination. The T80WL uses a tungsten filament lamp (400 - 600 nm) with a 90° scattering method, which is complaint with the U.S. EPA 180.1 method. Pick the model that is most suitable for your test methods.

Both models have a rugged design that is suitable for use in harsh environments. The color screen has two modes: measurement and calibration. The meter is supplied with calibration solutions so you can get started taking measurements right away. The meter’s average measurement mode is ideal for sample solutions with rapid setting and continuous measurement changes.
