Syringes handle corrosive gases and liquids, radioactive materials, and sterile solutions—ideal for gas and liquid chromatography
Sample loss is negligible at pressures up to 200 psi, depending on bore diameter
These essentially inert syringes have PTFE-coated plungers (50- and 100-ìL models have stainless steel plunger with removable PTFE tip). Barrels and plungers are interchangeable within each syringe size, allowing field repair. The three syringe types are described below.
Removable Needle Syringes use a threaded hub and PTFE sealing ferrule that can be tightened to compensate for wear. Syringes include a 304 stainless steel needle with noncoring tip. Do not heat above 239°F (115°C); autoclavable when disassembled.
