Metallurgical microscopes illuminate the specimen through the objective lens — ideal for specimens that don't transmit light, such as metals. Comfortable Siedentopf viewing heads have 30'' inclined eyetubes with one adjustable diopter and one fixed diopter. The interpupillary distance adjustable from 53 to 75 mm. Ergonomic coaxial focus controls have tension adjustment and a safety autostop. Koehler illumination allows for effective contrast control. The illuminator features field iris, aperature iris, and filter slots. Filter sets are included.
