Specially designed for testing of pharmaceuticals according to ICH
Climate friendly eco models use refrigerant carbon dioxide for cooling
No icing, drying out of samples, or dehumidification of the working chamber
Motor-driven forced air circulation ensures homogenous temperature distribution
ICH climate chambers are made for testing pharmaceuticals according to ICH, as well as testing the stability of cosmetics and food. Samples are protected through cooling aggregate and heating being situated outside the working chamber in the air jacket. The air jacket surrounds the entire chamber, ensuring precise quick and precise temperature control. The air circulation is also motor driven and adjustable in 10% steps, ensuring very homogenous temperature distribution. It can heat the interior up to 60 °C and cool it down to -10 °C (without humidity and without light) or +10 °C (with humidity). Humidification of the interior is achieved by evaporating water from a tank at a set rate by means of a hot-air generator on the rear side of the appliance. The sterile hot air is introduced into the interior above the fan and mixed with the air current. Humidity is reduced through condensation, using Peltier cooling modules on the rear side of the appliance. Ice that might build up due to dehumidification is automatically defrosted in cycles. Eco models use refrigerant carbon dioxide (R744), which is not flammable, toxic, or ozone depleting.
Each climate chamber is supplied with AtmoCONTROL software on a USB stick. With AtmoCONTROL software, programs can be transferred to the appliance and protocols can be read out.
