The 2030 Geno/Grinder homogenizer integrates with robotic systems to automate rapid cell disruption of plant and animal tissue through bead beating. This process offers fast and efficient extraction of nucleic acids, proteins, and other molecules. With the average processing time of less than two minutes and the ability to run around the clock, the homogenizer can process a high number of samples.
Easily load and unload microplates—the included clamp syncs with robotic systems to automatically open and close. A unique vigorous vertical grinding motion of the clamp allows increased reproducibility, superior extraction efficiency, and consistency of every sample. Pulverize samples with or without buffer using a variety of grinding media.
The password-protected, touch screen control panel enables you to program run time, rate, cycles, and pause time. Up to 500 protocols can be easily labeled, saved, recalled, and exported via USB.
