These clear flasks some presterilized, individually wrapped, and are ideal for storing or mixing cultures, microbes, samples, and media—any critical fluid. Baffled-bottom vessels help agitation in shaking applications. Both flat and baffle flasks fit into standard Erlenmeyer/Fernbach flask clamps for shaking incubators.
The DuoCap® (included) acts as two caps in one. The seal is made of polypropylene with a 0.22 µm PTFE membrane—ideal for sterile air exchange in cell cultures. If venting is not wanted, simply keep the dust cover in place for a leakproof closure—perfect for storage and mixing. Flasks and caps may be re-used, and re-sterilized by autoclave.
