It has some innovative features including a dual- locking lid for safety, built-in recessed rotor bowl to contain spills, and quick-change rotors with quick-release adapter to change out rotors without having to use tools. Each unit is robust and designed with safety and efficiency in mind.
This compact unit provides super-fast speed centrifugation, with a high speed of 8500 rpm and 3884 RCF rating, allowing users to spin samples rapidly or be used in applications where greater g-force is required. Enhanced safety features such as the innovative dual safety locking lid prevents accidental opening when the unit is in spin. Furthermore, the unit will only start spinning when the lid is closed and will automatically shut off after 60 minutes of continuous use. Enhanced stability and reduced vibration are possible due to the units' integrated rubber-coated base. Each unit has fixed-angle rotor for 8 x 1.5- to 2.0-mL tubes, rotor for 32 x 0.2-mL strip tubes, eight 0.5-mL adapter inserts, and detachable power cords for US, UK, and EU plugs.
