IPC and IPC-N peristaltic dispensing pumps

IPC & IPC-N: High accuracy peristaltic pumps for µ-fluidic applications

Ismatec IPC Low-Speed, Planetary Gear-Driven, Digital Peristaltic PumpsIsmatec® IPC and IPC-N pumps offer extremely low flow rates with the lowest pulsation and highest accuracy in peristaltic pumps. They are ideal for micro-fluidic (µ-fluidic), analytical and highest accuracy dispensing applications. The high accuracy at an almost pulse free, low flow rates is achieved by eight stainless steel rollers driven individually by the planetary drive. The planetary drive also increases tubing service life by significantly reducing the pull stress during operation.

IPC and IPC-N overview and specifications

  • Two pump models: IPC and IPC-N.
  • For low-flow, multi-channel fluid transfer and dosing or filling applications.
  • Flow rates from 2 µl/min to 44 ml/min and 0.4 µl/min to 11 ml/min (per channel).
  • 4, 8, 12, 16 and 24 pump channels.
  • Planetary drive with 8 actively driven rollers per channel.
  • Calibration functionality.
  • Closed loop control for load independent speed.
  • Easy load CA tubing cassettes.
  • Analog and RS232 communication.

An Accurate, Reliable Option

luid being pumped never touches the pum p, only the tubing, which means the pump lasts a long time and the same pump can be used for various fluids by simply changing the tubing. Masterflex pumps are self-priming (to 29 feet down), can operate dry without damage, produce no siphoning effect when stopped, have an accuracy rate better than 1 percent and are easy to maintain. As municipal and industrial wastewater treatment operations become more specialized and complex, carrying out precise dosing, chemical delivery, and product transfer operations is critical. With all this going for them, it’s easy to see why Masterflex pumps are a highly viable alternative to diaphragm metering, lobe, gear and progressing cavity pumps in meeting the stringent challenges in wastewater treatment applications.

IPC and IPC-N Features

  • Built-in accurate dispensing and calibration.
  • Pumping by speed or flow rate.
  • Dispensing by volume or time.
  • Interval dispensing with a pre-set number of cycle.
  • Volume dispensing over a set time frame.
  • Step-back function to ensure drip-free dispensing.
  • Calibrating flow rate and dispensing volume.
  • High accuracy and low pulsationwith planetary drive with the planetary drive system each roller is directly driven by the sun wheel. This prevents axial push-pull friction on the tubing. Result: increased service-life of the tubing, lower pulsation, and high repeatability.
  • Reduces flow pulsation significantly.
  • Increases accuracy.
  • Increases service life of the tubing by reducing the pull stress.

Analogue and RS-232 control
