StableWeigh Vessels for TDS Analysis StableWeigh vessels reduce time spent preparing, weighing, cooling, and cleaning evaporation vessels for TS and TDS analysis. Each StableWeigh vessel is preweighed with the tare weight printed on it, so it’s ready to use right out of the box. The vessels are inert to common water and wastewater components, and heat-resistant at the temperature required by the method. The vessels do not hold as much heat energy and will cool much faster. Because StableWeigh vessels weigh much less than a traditional glass or ceramic crucible, they give results with greater precision and accuracy. Combined, these factors reduce the number of drying and weighing cycles needed to obtain a constant weight. Once the analysis is complete, the StableWeigh vessels can be disposed of which eliminates the need for washing and the possibility of carryover contamination from one sample to the next.
