To comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) laws and regulations, it’s helpful to have several environmental testing products on hand. Many of these may be included in your cache of instrumentation anyway. Here’s a checklist to make sure you have each of these areas covered:
- Airflow measurement equipment and particle counters to test indoor or confined environments as well as outdoor air.
- Gas analysis products such as gas detectors and leak detectors. A confined space gas detector should sense oxygen deficiency or enrichment, toxics, and combustible gases.
- Water quality products, used by technicians, consultants, and scientists in research, industrial, and environmental industries, assess parameters such as pH and ions, conductivity and total dissolved solids (TDS), dissolved oxygen (DO), and turbidity.
- Water samplers such as bailers, samplers, ladles and dippers, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) vials, and bags.
