More About this Item
JACO polypropylene compression to male thread adapters connect rigid plastic tubing to threaded equipment ports in water-treatment, filtration, deionized-water, and mild chemical-feed systems. Molded from 20% glass-filled polypropylene, these fittings are lightweight and rigid, with improved strength, resistance to environmental stress cracking, and good chemical resistance. Polypropylene is a dependable choice for applications involving alkalis, salts, and most weak acids, including hydrochloric and phosphoric acids. Below 79°C (175°F), it also offers good resistance to organic solvents. Its inert properties make it suitable for high-purity applications such as deionized water, where polypropylene compatibility and required system certifications have been verified. These fittings have a solid opaque, flat white appearance. Polypropylene has a material temperature rating of -34 to 107°C (-30 to 225°F). JACO polypropylene fittings are NSF 14 certified, NSF 61 compliant, and autoclavable.
