Glass, zirconium, and stainless steel homogenizer beads, available in a variety of sizes, are efficient and quick at breaking down a wide range of samples in order to release the DNA, RNA, and proteins contained within cells. The beads come in prefilled unskirted tubes or in bulk, and are compatible with all popular bead homogenizers.

Zirconium Beads are quality tested to ensure the elimination of DNase, RNase, protease, and nucleic acids. The Triple-Pure™ zirconium beads are ideal for molecular biology applications. They come in five sizes (0.1, 0.5, 1.0. 1.5, and 3.0 mm) with the ability to homogenize everything from bacteria to large tissues. A 6-mm ceria stabilized zirconium bead is also available.
