The T-series solvent bottle caps help contain vapors, protect lab staff from exposure to toxic fumes, and prevent introduction of particulates. Check valve and filter help equalize pressure—as liquid is drawn out of the bottle under vacuum, air is allowed in preventing dangerous negative pressure of the bottle. The inlet is covered by a 10 µm PTFE filter to prevent particulate contamination.

Push through 1/8" OD semi-rigid tubing for a liquid- and vapor-tight seal or use standard male Luer fittings to connect other tubing sizes. Luer port lets you also connect a syringe for liquid removal. Anti-twist cap design allows the PTFE body to spin freely within the outer cap. No more twisted tubes and no need to disconnect fluid lines before unscrewing the cap. Caps are rated for use between -10 to 0 psi. All caps are autoclavable.

Connect 1/16" or 1/8" ID flexible tubing or 1/16” OD semi-rigid tubing to caps with Luer adapters. Plug any unused ports with a Luer plug to ensure a closed system. Bottle thread adapter converts bottles with S40 threads to accept any GL45 thread caps.

Design for 38-430 thread is different for glass and plastic bottles. Cap 21942-84 is designed to fit plastic bottles which are unsuitable for vacuum or pressurized applications.
