More About this Item
The Si2-series acoustic imaging cameras offer an effective way to address the inspection requirements for manufacturing, electrical, and utility industries. With its superior performance, ability to identify issues up to 200 m (656 ft) away, and detection and measurement with increased sensitivity, it is a perfect tool for ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Each acoustic imaging camera features 124 microphones that help pick up very quiet noises even from a long distance—ideal for inspecting high-voltage systems. The imaging cameras use machine learning to distinguish the other characteristics of the sound pattern created by leaks and partial discharge (PD) from the background, ensuring accurate measurements. The captured sound, transposed to a 12 MP digital camera and displayed on a 5" touchscreen LCD, visually pinpoints the leak source and mechanical faults.
Upload snapshots and videos to FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer (a cloud service) using a wi-fi connection for instant access on your computer and mobile devices. Use the included USB memory stick when wi-fi is not available to transfer snapshots or video files*. Lightweight and ergonomically designed imaging cameras are easy to hold with one hand, so you can keep one hand free to operate the camera or to inspect components. Use the built-in LED to illuminate dimly lit areas. A long-life battery pack makes these cameras excellent for extended field use.
Detect, locate, classify, and assess PD faults from up to 200 m (656 ft) away with the Si2-PD acoustic imaging camera. The on-camera and software -based severity assessment of PD issues can help with precise maintenance decisions and significantly reduce the costs while ensuring safety.
*Snapshots and videos are automatically removed from the camera once they are uploaded to FLIR Acoustic Camera Viewer account or exported to a memory stick.
