Motorized lift is standard, making for easy removal of the evaporating flask from the hot water/oil bath. The motorized lift automatically removes evaporating flask from bath in case of a power failure to minimize loss of your experiment. Other safety features include individually adjustable temperature safety circuits, protection against boiling dry, adjustable end-point recognition to prevent glass breakage, and a locking function. Ergonomic 4-L water/oil heating bath has a locking function for temperature settings from ambient to 180°C. Bath is designed with integrated ergonomic carrying handles for convenient positioning and oblong design for fast heating. It is controlled via the IR interface from the main unit.
RV 10 digital Evaporators provide more control and easier repetition with a digital display for both rotational speed and bath temperature. Infrared interface provides constant communication between the bath and main unit, allowing the unit to automatically shut down in case of abnormalities. The RS-232 port provides easy remote operation and collection of data with optional labworldsoft® software.
RV 10 auto Evaporators include the same features as the digital evaporators, plus a high-contrast TFT, color-graphic control panel, multi-language operating system, an integrated vacuum controller, and cooling water monitoring. Safety standards include automatic control of the vacuum and cooling water volume. The units offer an integrated solvent library with 40 preset solvents and a programming option for up to 10 individual procedures. RV 10 auto pro Evaporators offer the same features as the auto evaporators plus the IKA VACSTAR vacuum pump and automatic boiling point detection. The pump is controlled directly from the drive unit of the evaporator via a data cable.
